Got the same spotless king room with a comfortable bed booked online, appreciated that. The location was easy - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Plus we reached High Street in 25 minutes by foot.

Everything is perfectly fine here, had a very very good stay during our visit. This hotel offers lovely breakfasts with the set cooked offering and also egg scrambled egg. The location is unbeatable, close enough to Treetops at Brockhole as well as surrounding area.

Big bright rooms. We even had a balcony. Big bathroom. All clean and tidy. Regular breakfast. Good location to explore the Lake District.
The house itself looks a little run-down.

Comfortable beds, a work desk, multi-channel TV and ironing facilities in the room. It is spotless and a walk-in shower is provided. The location is decent and easy, 3 km from The Arcade.

The location of the hotel above the lake is fantastic. A bit back from the main road, you don't hear anything from the traffic, but you benefit from the optimal connection. The building is very beautiful, the garden is a treasure, unfortunately the equipment and design use the potential far too little. A sleeping beauty!
Maybe not to be managed otherwise, but the garbage disposal came well before 7 a.m. with real noise. Not helpful for a hotel. But at least you haven't overslept ..

This hotel has a good location in terms of proximity to nearby tourist spots etc., and being well set back from the road has a distinctly private and secluded feel to it, a feature added to by its lovely gardens, front southwest facing sunny aspect, and garden chess pieces. It is one f the Vision Group of hotels and therefore has many features that are designed for those with vision impairment. I liked this aspect. However, I did not spot a lift anywhere (may have missed it).
Minor disadvantages include: the hotel was a little difficult to find, not helped by the lack of specific directions in the e-mail confirmation (for reference turn left off A591 onto A592 towards Bowness and then take first turn on left (Priory Gardens); note that exiting the hotel by car onto the A592 is a bit hazardous (bend on the right, and brow of a hill of the left); the walls between the rooms on the top floor have very little soundproofing properties so TV and other noises from adjacent rooms can be intrusive.

No comments really it was a nice hotel, over priced and should have mentioned that they cater for the blind, not that I have a problem with that I think its a good thing for them, but should be mentioned on the internet.
I thought the hotel was a little too far out of town and not mentioned on your website, and was difficult to find not very well sign posted........Rarely anyone on reception when I wanted them to order a cab to take me down to centre.

The location was really excellent and the grounds of the hotel were immaculate. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The quality of the food was very good. The room was clean, light, airy and spacious. There was plenty of parking available. Lovely grounds to stroll around in.
The mattress has seen better days and the pillows were very thin. The price was expensive, but we assume that some of the profits go back to assisting visually impaired people, so that was a good thing. For the money we paid, the choice at breakfast was very poor, for example, you could have only orange juice or cereal/porridge etc.. (not both !). It was very difficult to find due to the signs being hidden off the main road and of a small size - we drove past it trying to find it ! Be aware that your sat-nav will not find it if you input the postcode.

Quiet, attractive location & comfortable large room. Room was a little hot & stuffy due how the hotel is built - but this easily remedied by leaving balcony door open & the fan provided. Good food and attractive public rooms
